Local High School Urges Teen Driver Safety
Handing your kids the keys to your car may be your biggest fear as a parent. National Teen Driver Safety Week encourages parents and teens to talk about the dangers of driving and how to make positive decisions behind the wheel. Jefferson High School kicks-off this week with State Farm’s Celebrate My Drive Campaign. They are competing against schools across the nation to win either $25,000 or $100,000 in grant money, and a chance to have GRAMMY nominated group, The Band Perry, perform at their school. Mock Show FiveSeventy has more on what Jefferson High School and others in the area are doing to protect their teens. Tune in at 7 PM for all of the details about Celebrate My Drive and tips for how you can protect your teen.
