A public discussion “Food for Thought: Nutrition and Children Obesity” will take place tomorrow at Chase Street Elementary. UGA Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition Dr. Caree Cotwight will give a short introductory talk before leading an informal discussion about nutrition and innovative interventions to combat the problem of childhood obesity. The program is being held by Athens Science Café in partnership with Russell Library and the Clarke County School District.
