On April 6th, The Transportation Funding Act of 2015, also known as House Bill 170, was sent to the governor. This bill will remove the current tax incentives for low emission and no emission vehicles.

While car salesman Jamison Johnson of Ford believes that this will lead to a decrease in sales of electric vehicles, bill sponsor Chuck Martin explained his beliefs that he thinks that the elimination of this tax credit will ultimately help the market for electric vehicles.
