Valentina Urrego was born in Medellin, Colombia, and immigrated to the United States when she was four years old. Currently, she is a Digital and Broadcast Journalism student in Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia, and minoring in political science.

Valentina is bilingual in English, Spanish, and conversational in French. She prides herself in the love and passion for other cultures, people, and traveling the world. She has visited about 20 countries throughout her life and is intrigued by the traveling and life of an international reporter.
