The traffic signal at South Milledge and Riverbend Road was put up a month ago, but it still isn’t up and running. Residents around the area are becoming more and more frustrated since this light is still not working. To make it worse they’re even more frustrated with all of the other construction work at this intersection. As a result it is causing traffic to be worse than ever.

Traffic Engineer Steve Decker cannot provide a date for operation at this time. However, Georgia Power commented and said now that the conduit, a key piece for electrical work, has been placed they should have the light up and running by the end of this week.
