Like, Comment, Share: SGA Campaigns Prioritize Social Media
The Student Government Association at the University of Georgia held their elections last week. While Tate Plaza may have seemed to be the center of the action, the real focus of the campaigns was online. Reporter Mary Carol Butterfield finds out why social media was a top priority for the executive tickets.
The Ignite ticket won the executive race with 4,390 votes. Cameron Keen will be president, Roya Naghepour his vice president and Kal Golde the new treasurer when they are sworn in on Wednesday, April 6.
