Todd Gurley Community Service
After six days of deliberation, the NCAA decided that UGA running back Todd Gurley must sit out four games for receiving $3,000 from memorabilia dealers. Under the terms of the reinstatement, Gurley must repay a portion of the money to charity and complete 40 hours of community service.
Community service isn’t a consequence that the NCAA delivers often, but it has been in their reinstatement guidelines since 2000.
