Veterans have trouble adjusting after coming home from war. More than two-hundred student veterans are currently attending the University of Georgia and that number is only expected to grow as more veterans come home from war.  The university has launched the Student Veterans Resource Center in order to help ease the transition from the battlefield to the classroom. Camaraderie is the main focus of the program. The Resource Center has introduced both mentoring programs and a lounge for veterans to gather together.
