Governor Nathan Deal is expected to sign the bill which will allow medical marijuana use in Georgia by the end of the week. HB 885 has passed in the House and Senate, and was sent back to the House to be confirmed last Wednesday.
Reporter Abby Jessen spoke with State Representative Chuck Martin, who voted in favor of the bill, last week. Martin explained that while there are many concerns from the public in legalizing medical marijuana, he is confident that the drug will be used properly.
