Lining Clayton Street to watch the Twilight Criterium is an Athens tradition.

This year, however, fans will be moving to a new location a few blocks over.  The downtown route is changing this year for the first time in race history. The new start-finish line will be on Washington Street at College Avenue.

The change was the result of construction concerns on Clayton Street. While the project was ultimately not completed due to a lack of funding, the route change remained.
