I am a third year student at the University of Georgia majoring in Digital and Broadcast Journalism. As a compliment to my major, I am also minoring in Communication Studies.

Currently I am a news reporting intern for the prestigious WUGA TV and Radio, which has helped me mold into a more detailed-oriented and time managing individual. Also, being a staff writer for Her Campus UGA and an entertainment writer for InfUSion Magazine allows me to strengthen my journalistic technique. Along with being a staff writer, I was a volunteer for Grady’s Newsource Live Broadcast in which I gained hands-on experience and production skills in the field of broadcast. Further, utilizing my leadership skills, I am the External Affairs Chairperson of the UGA Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), an organization that provides beneficial programs to students and advocates on behalf of African American journalists.

My career aspiration is to become an anchor/TV host of a mainstream news broadcast. My area of focus in news is entertainment, national and international reporting. I am a quick learner who flourishes in both individual and team-oriented tasks, as well as fast-pasted environments. If given the opportunity, I will utilize my entry-level experience and skills to the best of my ability and will prove to be a positive asset as an intern or employee to any prestigious company.
