To all the people who read, followed or skimmed over the various stories posted on this website and / or on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The FiveSeventy Newscast and Website is going on hiatus for the Christmas break.   Our sister website, GradyNewsource.com, is also going on hiatus during this time.

We will return in January with new stories and articles about the Athens community.  The students in this program and producing for this news product will then be working for the Grady Newsource on-line and on-air product.  There will be another group of new journalism students producing material for this site.

In the meantime the students from this semester, and I, thank you, and we encourage you to look at the stories posted, the newscasts posted,and feel free to give us your thoughts and suggestions on how we can make this even better.
