The Boybutante AIDS Foundation hosted its annual drag search to kick off their Boybutante Ball Week. Drag queens took over Hendershots on Monday night and gave their best diva performances in the hopes of coming out on top in order to raise money for the Athens community.

The foundation has been using this drag filled week for the last 26 years in order to raise money for those affected by AIDS in the Athens area as well as funding for education programs. This week is important not to only raise money to help fight AIDs, but it also means self-expression and giving unique opportunities to all who participate in the events.

The Annual Boybutante Ball will be this Saturday, April 18th in downtown Athens at the 40 Watt.
