You now not only can jump for fun, but jump for a good cause. This is the case at Rush Athens trampoline park.
Rush Athens is holding a hygiene drive this week to help the organization Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Rush Athens offers discounted jump tickets to those that bring in items for the organization.
The drive was organized by Senior Rebecca Reinhart as a school project, but did not realize the event would become such a huge success.
Rebecca Reinhart, “We chose grandparents raising grandchildren because they told us they were in need of donations for their hygiene drive.”
The goal of the drive is to fill the box to the very top to help those raising grandkids a little easier.
Rush allowed the event to be held so that their customers could jump to help the community.
Rush Athens General Manager Dee Bisset, “We are constantly doing outreach and trying to bring in new groups and reach out to different organizations that need help and donations.”
The drive ends Thursday, April 21st at 10 p.m. Items that can be donated include any personal hygiene item from toothbrushes to dish soap.
