The annual Parade of Lights event is taking place at 7pm tonight in downtown Athens. The parade will feature floats decorated in the “12 Days of Christmas” theme. The panel of judges will begin giving out awards at 6pm, and the grand winner will receive a $400 grand prize. The parade will last approximately an hour.

The floats will start marching from Pulaski street and will end at the giant Christmas tree in front of city hall.
